Cultural space in the center of Belgrade
KP radionica is an independent cultural space in a center of Belgrade, opened at December 2024, focused on interdisciplinary artistic practices and collective forms of interaction.
It hosts exhibitions, concerts, performances, and workshops, bringing together artists who explore new forms of expression. Particular attention is given to the processual nature of art—the space values not only the final works but also the open demonstration of their creation, the exploration of methods, and the mechanisms of artistic expression. Radionica serves as a platform for communal experimentation, idea exchange, and the investigation of boundaries between different art forms.
| A unique feature of our space is the open workshop for artists: a coworking environment accessible to everyone, where artists work on their creations in a public setting. This transparent process not only demystifies art-making but also fosters dialogue and deeper connections between creators and the audience. |
| Otvoreni studio i bife (Open Studio & Bar) Our main format invites artists to work publicly. We engage in a lively dialogue between artists and audience: visitors can enjoy snacks and drinks while watching the process of art being created. During these gatherings, we discuss pressing issues, get to know each other, and brainstorm new projects together. |
| Exhibitions In our space we organise "weekend exhibitions": the main life of the project happens during the opening - it's both a show and an event. After that, the exhibition stays up for no more than a week and blends naturally into other activities. We're not curators in the classical sense - rather, we create a field where artists and curators can come on their own and, having freedom, bring their ideas to life. |

| Off-site exhibitions Having gathered a group of our resident artists, we collaborate with different venues and cultural events around Belgrade - taking part both as a space and as an artists' collective. |
| Gigs A few times a month we throw live music events - mostly experimental stuff, from acoustic to electronic. We run them in a multidisciplinary way, teaming up with visual artists and VJs. One of our favourite formats is open music jams, where literally anyone can jump in and play. |
| Educational program We hold masterclasses and workshops in various fields of art. This summer, we launched a laboratory focused on four of them - music, digital art, performance, and visual arts - and we will continue working with these areas. In addition, we organise lectures on culture and social sciences. |
| Movie screening We host film screenings focusing on documentary and auteur cinema, experimental formats, and art video. These are accompanied by lectures, discussions, and Q&A sessions with the filmmakers. |
| Special projects We are open to various types of events. We have hosted and continue to host swaps, performative practices, stand-up shows, poetry slams, and much more. |
